New York Cafe

24 x 18 acrylic on canvas board derived from an advertisement in the New York Times supplement.

The Beach

24 x 18 acrylic on canvas board derived from a photograph that I took while in Phuket Thailand. The view is from underneath a beach umbrella looking out down the beach.

Purple Rain

24 x 18 acrylic on canvas board derived from a Lorraine Christie work that I saw in American Art collector. The concept came from the two figures in the middle of Lorraine's piece that were talking underneath an umbrella and dressed in business attire. The image draws no resemblance to the original as this was where the conceptual thought came from.

Central Park II

24 x 18 acrylic on canvas board derived from a photograph that I took on a visit to New York Central Park. Awesome place an oasis in the middle of the city.

The Printer

24 x 18 acrylic on canvas board derived from a photograph that I took in a old western cowtown tourist attraction in wichita Kansas. The guy was using a flat bed printer circa 1900.

Newgale Beach

24 x 18 acrylic on canvas board derived from a photograph that my wife Jacqui took while walking on Newgale Beach in Pembrokeshire Wales UK. I am the one in the middle.

Liberty II

24 x 18 acrylic on canvas board derived from a photograph that I took on a trip to New York and a service boat that is used in and around the Statue of Liberty.
